At Nu-Trend Interiors, we’re proud to be a small, family-run business with a lot of heart and an ever-growing passion for beautiful, high-quality furniture. Our story began in 1996, when Gary and Maggie opened the doors of their first shop in Nottinghamshire. It was a humble little space, but they made it work, filling every corner with the love and care they put into their craft.

Gary has been in the furniture industry since 1979. His journey began making sofas in Glenbery, Long Eaton, before moving into a smaller workshop nearby when that factory closed down. Through every transition, Gary and his team’s commitment to craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a personal touch has remained the foundation of everything we do.

By 2011, things were going well, but there was one small problem—parking! Our showroom didn’t have enough space for our growing number of customers, so we took a big leap and moved further down the road. This new location didn’t just solve our parking woes—it gave us the opportunity to create a dedicated workshop right above the showroom, where Gary & his team could once again craft beautiful bespoke sofas on-site. It also meant we could keep everything in-house, ensuring the same high standards across the board.

Now, we’re excited to take the next step in our journey: going online! We want to bring the charm and quality of Nu-Trend Interiors to homes all across Great Britain. We know you can shop for sofas anywhere, but here’s why we believe you’ll love what we offer:
